The growing divide between the wealthy and the impoverished has reached a breaking point in a dystopian London. The only affordable housing remnants are gone, leaving only The Kitchen—a tenacious neighbourhood unwilling to give up its home. Here comes Izi, a lonely inmate forced to live there by force who is frantically trying to get away. Benji, a 12-year-old who is searching for any sort of family after losing his mother, is with her. Together, this unusual pair struggles to connect in a system that adamantly opposes their every move.
