Leo, also known as Leo: Bloody Sweet, is an action thriller set in Tamil that was produced by Seven Screen Studio and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj in 2023. With Vijay as the lead, the film is the third entry in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe and is based on “A History of Violence.” This film project promises an engaging story enhanced by excellent acting and cutting-edge technology.The storyline revolves around Parthi, portrayed by Vijay, a café owner and animal rescuer in Theog. The duo suspects Parthi to be Antony’s estranged son, Leo, setting the stage for a high-stakes, action-packed thriller.Initially revealed as Thalapathy 67 in January 2023, Leo started principal photography in Chennai that same month and later traveled to beautiful locations in Kashmir. Under the direction of director Lokesh Kanagaraj, the production team successfully completed filming by mid-July, fusing Kashmir’s stunning vistas with Chennai’s lively energy.

Industry heavyweights Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Trisha, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Madonna Sebastian, George Maryan, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, and Mathew Thomas are among the ensemble cast members of Leo. In Theog, Himachal Pradesh, Parthi, a reserved animal rescuer and café owner, encounters unforeseen difficulties that upend his tranquil existence. With the aid of his son Siddhu, Parthi is able to tame and adopt a hyena that poses a threat to the community.

Trouble brews when a gang led by Shanmugham attempts to rob Parthi’s café. In a self-defense encounter, Parthi takes down the attackers but is haunted by the consequences. The situation intensifies when gangster Antony Das mistakes Parthi for his presumed-dead son, Leo. To protect his family, Parthi seeks help from Napoleon, a police officer.

As Antony insists on Leo’s identity, Parthi’s past unfolds, revealing family secrets and criminal activities. Through a series of events, Parthi exposes the nefarious deeds of Antony and his brother Harold, involving illegal substances.

Parthi’s friend Joshy and his wife Sathya discover the truth, realizing Parthi is not Leo. A confrontation ensues, leading to Parthi defeating Antony, rescuing his son Siddhu, and dismantling the Das brothers’ drug factory.
