Black Adam Movie

“Black Adam” is an American superhero movie from 2022 that is based on the same-named DC character. Produced as a spin-off of “Shazam!” (2019) by New Line Cinema, DC Films, Seven Bucks Productions, and Flynn Picture Co., and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, the film is the eleventh entry in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The film was written by Adam Sztykiel and the writing duo of Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani, and it was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. In the film, Dwayne Johnson plays Teth-Adam, also known as Black Adam, an ancient superhuman freed from magical confinement by archaeologists hoping to free Kahndaq from the grip of the Intergang criminal organization.

The local head of the syndicate wants to take over the country by obtaining an antiquated artifact known as the Crown of Sabbac. Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell, Marwan Kenzari, and Pierce Brosnan all have supporting parts.

When Dwayne Johnson first signed on for “Shazam!” in September 2014, it was confirmed that he would play Black Adam. Producers did, however, ultimately choose to give the character a standalone movie at Johnson’s request. Sztykiel became involved with the project in October 2017, and Collet-Serra joined in June 2019, with the original goal of releasing it in December 2021. But the COVID-19 outbreak caused a delay in the timeframe.

The next year saw the addition of four Justice Society of America members to the cast as well as Haines and Noshirvani’s screenplay modifications. The main photography was done in Trilith Studios in Los Angeles and Atlanta, Georgia, between April and August of 2021.

On October 3, 2022, “Black Adam” made its theatrical debut in Mexico City. On October 21, the film was released nationwide. The movie failed to break even at the box office and was met with negative reviews, even though it brought in $393 million worldwide.

King Ahk-Ton enslaved his people to mine Eternium in 2600 BC, giving rise to the invincible Crown of Sabbac. A youthful slave transforms into a superhero and vanquishes Ahk-Ton.

Kahndaq is now being oppressed by Intergang. Adrianna’s search for the Crown has disastrous results. When she wakes Teth-Adam, the Justice Society steps in to help.

Adam’s violent background comes to light; Kahndaq’s dark past is connected to Ishmael, the leader of the Intergang. Adam gives himself up to the Justice Society; Hawkman’s demise is predicted by fate.

Ishmael tricks Adam into turning into Sabbac so he can unleash fury on Kahndaq. Sabbac is not stopped by the Justice Society. Fate thinks that Hawkman’s offering can alter destiny.

Set free by destiny, Adam faces Sabbac and rescues Kahndaq. With the departure of the Justice Society, Adam is left in charge. In a scene during the credits, Waller cautions Adam, and Superman proposes a compromise.
