Badland Hunters Movie Storyline

After a catastrophic incident, Seoul is a wasteland where getting by is a daily struggle. An experienced hunter named Nam-San struggles to make ends meet in his hamlet with the help of his companion Ji-wan and other survivors. Their already difficult life is turned upside down when Dr. Yang Gi-su, a renegade scientist, kidnaps Su-na, a villager.

In an absurd quest for immortality, Dr. Gi-su has been injecting teenagers with a serum in order to undertake unlawful experiments. Gi-su is still working unethically at his camp, which Nam-San and his pals find out about. They set off on a risky quest to save Su-na, having to battle mutant warriors every step of the way.

It is revealed that Gi-su’s intentions are rooted in his daughter So-yeon’s death during the collapse of the city. Gi-su runs away with So-yeon’s body in a desperate attempt to save her, only to be killed by a vengeful mob. Sadly, So-yeon’s recovery is cut short when Gi-su accidently hurts her body in the confusion.

Nam-San, Ji-wan, and Su-na return to their village in spite of the unrest, thankful for their safety but aware of the difficulties they will face in their harsh world.
